Creating calmer environments

Venesta Washroom Systems approached Lucid to deliver a series of new patterns, to compete more effectively in the school & nursery toilet cubicle markets.

Lucid Group’s product design team created over 20 pattern concepts, targeting the needs of different specifiers in the schools market. Common requirements included developing a calming, gender-neutral environment, patterning to deter vandalism and appropriateness to typical education age ranges. The themes drew on research into child behaviour, colour theory and our knowledge of the technical constraints of board & print optimisation.

Consumer feedback helped focus on 6 designs that have shaped a visual strategy for Venesta washrooms. Lucid Group delivered print-ready continuous artwork that has been applied across product ranges for Venesta's Bushboard, Amwell and own brands.
